Staff were exceptionally attentive and caring, going out of their way to make our stay wonderful. In fact, upon arrival we were upgraded to a larger room. Breakfast was a highlight of our day, with an enormous variety of choices. This was our second visit to Peppers in Palm Cove and from the very beginning, we were made to feel like family. The staff obliged my spouse's request for buckets of ice 3 times a day so he could continue his knee replacement rehab. Shortly before we were to leave, Cyclone Alfred impacted our departure by causing airports to close and our flights to be cancelled. Peppers staff worked their magic to accommodate our unexpected but necessary extended stay in their fully-booked facility, even keeping us in our same room for the additional week.

The facilities are amazing - lovely garden setting on the main street of Palm Cove. My studio room was lovely - overlooked the pool, spacious, clean, great bathroom. Breakfast is very nice with generous serving hours and a good selection of options (fruit, cereal, breads, pastries, hot choices, coffee/tea/juice etc) The main pools are fantastic - beautiful temperature, clean, lots of lounges and areas to sit. Swim up bar is ok (see reference later).

The large lagoon pool and swim up pool bar is a key attraction for us when we visit Peppers at Palm Cove. The breakfast provides a good level of variety with plenty of healthy choices. The staff are always friendly and make every effort to ensure our stay is as enjoyable as possible. We appreciated the staff remembering us from previous stays and thought the bottle of sparkling wine was a nice touch.

The pools were fantastic and very enjoyable. However, the bar service could use more staff, especially during the busy season, to keep up with demand. The room was nice and modern, but for a five-star resort, the kitchen cupboards were damaged. The second bedroom is more suitable for kids than adults sharing as it is only separated by sliding doors and once locked that room has no air conditioning.

Paul

The room was very spacious and included a small washer and dryer. The pool area was nice and adequate. There was private parking. The location was good. There were great restaurants nearby. A small grocery store and pharmacy was also located near the resort.
